For dinner, I made pork and turkey sisig. Of course, a sisig meal comes with a fried egg and unlimited rice. Oh the peppery lime-y goodness! This is the stuff of my youth!
My husband liked it too. When we were in the Philippines, we used to order this a lot.
While I was enjoying this, so many memories rushed into my head. Sisig is always present during beer times with friends. And sisig is my choice whenever I go to the mountains back home. *Sigh* Here I go again.
At least it was good.
